Magpas, the medical charity which Elms Cambridge supports, is holding its 2014 VIP Charity Event on Thursday April 10th at the Foundling Museum in London.
The event runs from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. Entertainment on the night will include the chance to meet ex-F1 driver, Mark Blundell, the official Ricky Gervais lookalike, and an actor who played a Death Eater in ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’. Guests will also have the chance to win a £1000 diamond and can bid for a visit to the set of the next big British movie.
Of course, it’s all raising money for a very important cause. Magpas responds to serious incidents across the East of England, either by helicopter or using a rapid-response car. Elms Cambridge BMW supplies the charity with a BMW 5 Series Touring which is regularly used to attend medical emergencies, taking the paramedic and doctor wherever they are most needed. This year alone Magpas has already been called out well over 100 times. The charity receives no support from the Government or the National Lottery and relies entirely on public donations
The event’s organiser, Major Bob Garbett (retired), says: “Come rain or shine, hail or snow, the Magpas Team are out there saving lives. Let’s support them!”
Tickets for the event cost just £79. If you’d like to attend the event and help Magpas continue its life-saving work, please click here.
