Elms Cambridge has supported Magpas – The Emergency Medical Charity for many years, and will be attending Magpas’s next big fundraiser – The Lifesavers Golf Day on July 11th.
The annual event is organised by The One Group to raise funds for this vital charity, which sends doctors and paramedics to medical emergencies all over our region. Sometimes the Magpas team fly by helicopter, sometimes they rely on their BMW 5 Series Touring, supplied by Elms Cambridge BMW.
More than 100 golfers are expected to take to the fairways of the Wyboston Lakes Golf Club, St Neots. This year’s fundraising target is £10,000.
There’s still time to enter the event, which is free of charge to golfers: money is raised through sponsorship of the holes on the course by various local businesses and the donation of auction prizes. All the money goes straight to the charity.
The One Group’s PR and Marketing Manager, Rob Andrews, said: “Magpas is a fantastic charity and we are proud to be associated with this lifesaving organisation, which continues to make a difference to so many people across the Eastern region.”
We look forward to supporting The Lifesavers Golf Day and helping Magpas continue its important work.
