The sensational MINI Superleggera Vision has been shown in Britain for the first time today at the Salon Privé, an exclusive classic car event and auction at Syon House in London.
The Superleggera Vision marks a landmark cooperation between MINI and Touring Superleggera, the famous Italian design house and coachbuilder.
With bodywork made by hand, the MINI Superleggera Vision combines Italian craftsmanship with the best of modern British engineering.
“The MINI Superleggera Vision elegantly perpetuates what the Classic Mini started 55 years ago: reduction to the essentials,” says Anders Warming, Head of MINI Design. “Its energetic, minimalistic design embodies the dynamic essence of an automobile. At the same time it creates unique emotional beauty in combining the past and future of the automotive industry, i.e. traditional coachwork craftsmanship and modern design styling. It was a pleasure for me to design a concept like this.”
At Elms, we absolutely love this concept car. What do you think?
