As proud sponsors of the Cambridge United Soccer Schools, Elms Cambridge were proud to support the Abbey Stadium Soccer Schools on the Pitch day on 3rd May 2015.
Around 350 children of all ages from across Cambridgeshire took part in the day, bringing the Cambridge United Soccer Schools onto the Abbey Stadium pitch. Parents watched from the stands as the children took part in a range of activities, including technical training, matches and games. Children as young as two years old participated, many taking part in their first ever football training session.
Football Development Manager James Cutting explains: ‘’The children taking part had an unforgettable experience. Walking out of the tunnel to their parents’ applause, honing their skills under the tutelage of a professional coach and then taking part in matches and fun games such as Zorb Football! We would like to place on record our thanks to Elms Cambridge BMW who supported this event. Hundreds of children went away from the Abbey Stadium with a big smile, some great memories and wearing their BMW t-shirt and medal with pride!’’
