Elms BMW will show off the new BMW i3 at the The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Workplace Travel Plan Awards this Friday (March 14th). Anyone attending the event – and members of the public – will be able to test drive the i3 on Europe’s longest runway.
This is the eighth year of the The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Workplace Travel Plan Awards, which commend businesses for taking steps to reduce congestion and improve the health of their workforce. The awards ceremony will take place in the Incubator at Alconbury Weald in Huntingdon.
Dan Gordon, former Paralympian, World and European champion, and now Principal Lecturer of Exercise Physiology at Anglia Ruskin University, and Grahame Nix, Chief Executive of the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership (LEP), will both be making keynote speeches.
The ceremony is linked to an electric vehicle event at the same venue, running from 11am to 4pm. Those attending the event and members of the public are invited to test drive a number of electric vehicles, including the BMW i3. Elms will also be showing off the BMW 5 Series ActiveHybrid.
